Left for dead in the Redlands, an isolated spot of abandonment in South Florida, Ernie beat the odds.
He was found hiding in bushes alongside a road.
The experience left him shy, but once he gets to know you, Ernie becomes a big teddy bear.
The American bulldog is friendly and loves to cuddle once he warms up to you.
He is being cared for by the folks with American Bulldog Rescue.
