Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 marks the second annual Florida Craft Beer Day and Tampa Bay area breweries are celebrating.
Florida Craft Beer day honors the opening of Florida Brewing Company in 1897. It was the first locally owned and operated brewery in Ybor City. Even cooler, it was the first brewery located in the southeastern United States. The brewery is no longer in operation, but it started a brewing tradition for many.
The best way to celebrate Florida Craft Beer Day is to drink local. Head to one of the following participating breweries to toast to our local craft beer business.
