A PSTA bus passenger must have been tired on Sunday morning, but another passenger wasn't amused.

That morning, a passenger was traveling on Central Avenue on a PSTA bus when he yawned. Chester Harris told St. Petersburg Police that the passenger did so without covering his mouth and had bad breath, according to an arrest affidavit.

Harris said he felt disrespected and asked the victim to cover his mouth. The victim allegedly replied, "[expletive] you."

So, Harris punched him causing a bloody nose. Harris told police the victim "got what he deserved."

He was charged with simple battery. It is a felony charge due to having one prior conviction in Largo back in 2007.

Harris bonded out of Pinellas County Jail. No further court date has been set.
