Pinellas County sheriff's deputies in partnership with other local law enforcement agencies made 14 DUI arrests and issued 125 citations during a countywide traffic enforcement string overnight Friday, officials said.
Law enforcement officers also filed 18 other misdemeanor and felony charges, ranging from possession of a controlled substance to driving while license suspended and/or revolked with knowledge to felony violation of probation.
The DUI wolf pack was conducted in an effort to reduce DUI related injuries and deaths, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.
