The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run traffic crash on U.S. 92 east of Tampa early Saturday morning.
No information was released about the vehicle being sought in the fatal hit-and-run incident involving Anthony Terry, 30, of Tampa. The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Terry was crossing northbound on U.S. 92 west of Comfort Drive when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.
The vehicle, headed east, failed to stop, a FHP report states. Terry dies of his injuries on the scene.
Later, a second vehicle driven by William Figueredo Guerra, 48, of Brandon, also hit the pedestrian lying in the street. Guerra was uninjured.
