A 72-year-old Palmetto man has been arrested on 12 counts of child pornography charges.
Robert Glenn Swartz was charged with 11 counts of sexual performance by a child and 1 count of transmission of child pornography, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said.
On June 22, sheriff's detectives learned possible child pornography was on the suspect's computer.
An investigation led to a search warrant. Files containing a large amount of child pornography were seized.
Manatee deputies are asking anyone with information to call the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
