A 63-year-old Orlando man riding a motorcycle died as a result of a two-vehicle crash in Citrus County Saturday night, officials said.

The man, whose name was not released pending notification of next-of-kin, was riding his bike southbound on North Citrus Avenue  about 10:30 p.m. Saturday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

A 2016 GMC Terrain driven by Albert Corradina, 69, of Beverly Hills, was traveling eastbound on West Emerald Oaks Drive approaching Citrus Avenue about the same time.  A highway patrol report said the GMC Terrain stopped then continued into the intersection.

The GMC Terrain entered the path of the motorcycle. Both vehicles collided.

The motorcyclist was taken to Ocala Regional Hospital, where he died of his injuries. Corradina was uninjured.

No charges had been filed by Sunday morning. An investigation is underway.
