One person has died after a wreck in Brooksville early Thursday morning involving a deputy cruiser.
The wreck happened near the intersection of Cortez Blvd. and Fort Dade Ave. Officials said a Hyundai ran a stop sign and crashed into a Hernando deputy's cruiser.
The driver of the Hyundai has died from their injuries.
Authorities confirmed the deputy was not seriously injured.
