Ryan is a true Velcro dog. Once he gets to know you, he will stick by your side like glue.
So says his caregiver at Greyhound Pets of America, who is trying to find a permanent home for the tall, young pup.
Ryan tends to be shy when he meets someone new. But once the trust kicks it, he will show his loyalty.
He enjoys running around a fenced-in yard, which is a necessary feature for a greyhound.
Ryan would do well at a home where there is at least one greyhound or another dog. It is best not to place Ryan at a home where there are cats.
Be aware that greyhounds tend to sleep a lot, up to 16 hours a day. But when they awake, greyhounds are eager to show their loyalty and desire to be by your side.
Ryan is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations.
