Multiple traffic incidents slow Halloween morning commute throughout Tampa Bay area

Multiple traffic incidents have slowed the Halloween morning commute for residents throughout the Tampa Bay area. 

TAMPA

• OVERTURNED TRUCK: A truck vs. car accident resulted in the truck overturning at Hillsborough Avenue and 11th Street N. That accident is blocking Hillsborough Avenue in both the eastbound and westbound directions.
• TRUCK VS. POLE: Sligh Avenue and Navin Avenue N, a truck struck a pole, resulting in a downed power line. Traffic on Sligh is shut down in both directions. Navin Avenue is west of I-275, between Central and Florida.

MANATEE

• FHP investigates fatal hit and run crash in Manatee County

PASCO

• A vehicle crash with injuries was reported at Otis Lane Road near Forbes Street in Zephyrhills. No road block.

POLK

• PCSO is working a traffic crash involving a semi and a car at the railroad tracks in the westbound lanes of State Road 60, between Central Avenue West and Old Bartow Road in Lake Wales. SR 60 westbound is completely shut down in that area until further notice - please use an alternate route.
