UPDATE | Authorities said Monday afternoon that Foster has been located and is now safe.
PRIOR COVERAGE | Officials in Sarasota County asked for the public's help in locating an elderly woman who did not return from a walk in Nokomis early Sunday.
Hildegard Foster, 75, was walking near Albee Road and South Trail around 10:30 a.m. July 3, but nobody has seen her since.
Authorities considered Foster both missing and endangered.
