A man was arrested Sunday in Polk County in connection with the July 3 murder of a man found shot to death in the middle of a Tampa street.
Tampa police detectives identified Dejonta Jerome Felder, 22, is the suspect in the shooting death of 32-year-old Julius R. Carter on a Tampa street after an argument.
Carter was shot several times then fled to the backyard of a house in the 3400 block of North Phillips Street, where he died.
Earlier this month, Tampa police issued a warrant for Felder's arrest.
Felder was arrested in Polk County early Sunday and charged withsecond degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
