TAMPA, Fla. — These local holiday camps are here to give you a break while your kids are on theirs.
Hillsborough County
- YMCA: The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA offers Kids’ Day Out during no school days. It costs $35 a day if you are a member, or $50 a day if you're not. Click here for more information.
- Parks and Recreation: The county offers Camp Days for K-8 students. For the entire winter break, you'll pay $76. Click here for more information.
Pinellas County
- Oldsmar: Cypress Forest Rec Center runs from Dec. 23 through Jan. 3, with no camps Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. The camp costs $120 with a rec card for both weeks. Call 813-749-1152 to sign up.
- Largo: Largo Recreation offers a variety of camps for K-5 students. Click here for more information.

- Great Escapes: For elementary school-aged students from Dec. 30 through Jan. 3 for $60. Click here for more information.
Sarasota County
- Parks and Recreation: Programs for K-5 students are offered at Colonial Oaks Park and Newtown Estates Park. Click here for more information.
Manatee County
- Parks and Recreation: The county offers two different winter break camps for students. The first takes place Dec. 23, 26 & 27 for $66 and the other takes place Dec. 30, 31 and Jan. 2, 3 for $88. Click here for more information.
