A 40-year-old Illinois man was struck and killed on North Dale Mabry Highway early Saturday, authorities said.
An orange-colored vehicle, possibly a Dodge Dart, driven by an unknown driver was traveling northbound on Dale Mabry Highway approaching Medical Drive about 12:40 a.m.
The vehice struck Eric P. Flodin, 40, of Lake in the Hills, Ill., as he was crossing the northbound lanes on Dale Mabry.
The car sustained damage on its left front side, including headlight, turn signal and driver side mirror. It fled the scene.
Charges are pending.
