UPDATE: Due to the extent of the fawn's injuries, veterinarians decided that it had to be euthanized.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office calls it an "Act of Kindness" on their Facebook page. Corporal Jeremy Davis saved an injured and blind fawn from the side of Morris Bridge Road over the weekend.
The fawn was taken to Bearss Animal Clinic on Florida Avenue where it will rehabilitate the fawn and then transfer it to a local zoo.
The photo has been shared hundreds of times and many are praising Corporal Davis for his job well done in saving the fawn's life.
