The Hernando County Sheriff's Office is on the scene of an early morning shooting in South Brooksville.
An unidentified man was shot about 4:00 a.m. in the area of Twigg Street, the Hernando County Sheriff's Office said.
No further details were released.
There is no active threat to the community at this time, sheriff's officials said.
