The race is on to help find Yoda a home.
Yoda is a 4-year-old former racing greyhound.
He is a gentle giant who is great with children and adults alike, said Jean Maggio with Greyhound Pets of America. The rescue agency has been caring for the lad.
So how did Yoda get his name? When he was born, Yoda and the rest of the litter of pups were given names of Star Wars characters, Maggio said.
