Family, friends and co-workers gathered early Saturday morning at a Tampa funeral home to say goodbye to Christopher Sanfeliz, a victim of the Orlando nightclub shooting.
They came together on a bright, humid day to mourn the passing of the loving son, adoring brother, role model cousin, admired nephew and loyal friend.
They gathered at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at 3207 W. Bearss Ave. in Carrollwood to pay tribute to Sanfeliz, 24, who died the morning of June 12 at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando. The incident would become the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
An 8:30 a.m. procession on Saturday to Sanfeliz's burial site, Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 4207 E. Lake Ave. in Tampa, followed the funeral service.
Sanfeliz was a graduate of Gaither High School, where he was a musician in the marching band. He also was a personal banker at J.P. Morgan Chase bank.
