TAMPA, Fla. -- Circle K gas stations are supporting schools across the country on Thursday.
Tampa Bay Area residents are invited to a special "Fuel Up" night at participating Circle K gas stations on Thursday, December 7 to kick off Circle K's "Fueling Our Schools" fundraising campaign.
Customers will be able to purchase fuel at specially marked fuel pumps and Circle K promises to donate one cent of every gallon of fuel purchased to a participating local school (up to $2,000 per school) year-round in 2017 and 2018.
Schools will be able to use their donations for technology, resources, teacher incentives and more.
On special "Fuel Up" nights, customers will be able to make a bigger impact on their local schools. On "Fuel Up" nights like Thursday, December 7 in the Tampa Bay Area, 10 cents of each gallon of fuel will be donated to participating schools.
Participating Circle K convenience stores can be found across the country. In the Tampa area, participating locations include:
Circle K: 1295 Kingsway Road, Brandon, FL
Beneficiary school: Brandon High School will use its donation for its athletics program, school supplies and facility improvements.

Beneficiary school: Inverness Primary School
