Four fatal Monday morning crashes in Bay area

Four major Bay area thoroughfares were host to tragedy Monday morning, as traffic crashes took four lives before and during the morning commute. 

  • A tow truck driver died in a hit-and-run while preparing a tow on the Howard Frankland bridge.
  • One person is dead after a motorcycle crash on US 301 near Panther Trace Blvd. in Riverview.
  • HCSO reports a fatality after a wreck near USF campus at 138th Ave. and Bruce B Downs Blvd.
  • Pasco officials say a fatal crash at US 19 at Ridge Rd. closed southbound lanes during investigation.
