At approximately 8:14 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Tampa Fire Rescue responded to 3310 Beaumont Street in South Tampa for reports of a fire.

Crews arrived at the scene to find smoke coming out of the house. During the search of the home, two cats and two rats were found dead and one dog was rescued. There were no other victims inside the home at the time of the fire.

Officials say the oven was left on and that is what caused the fire.

Tampa Fire Rescue is investigating.
