Car lights glowed on streets all across the Tampa Bay area before dawn this morning as Christians gathered for sunrise services.
From Pass-a-Grille to Tampa's Riverwalk to Polk County and north from Sumter County to North Port in south Sarasota County, some people gathered under the stars and others under cloudy skies for Easter morning worship services.
Easter sunrise service is a tradition recognized by Christians around the world. It is held based on the belief Jesus rose from the dead early on a Sunday morning.
