A dog that was abandoned on a Seminole Heights road in August by its owner has been found and is now up for adoption in Hillsborough County.
The incident occurred on August 7 when a dash-cam video caught a man dumping the dog out of his car on North Boulevard and driving away. The witness who shared the dash-cam video says he attempted to chase after the dog and rescue it but was unsuccessful.

The former owner was placed on the County's Enjoined List and is now permanently banned from owning and possessing animals in Hillsborough County.
The Pet Resource Center is hosting a meet and greet with the dog, now named Tiger, on Friday, November 3 at 3 p.m.
