Sarasota County Sheriff's deputies are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they said took pictures up a woman's skirt at an antique store in Sarasota on Wednesday.
The victim, a 46-year-old woman, was shopping at Bon Bon Vintage on Tuttle Avenue around 11:15 a.m. The suspect, described as a male in his forties, started to engage her in conversation, investigators said.
He continued to talk to and follow the woman throughout the store. When she became suspicious, the woman turned around to find the man crouched down behind her taking photos. When she confronted him, the man fled the store, deputies said.
Surveillance video shows the suspect walking through the business with his cell phone in hand. He was wearing a light blue button-down shirt, khaki shorts and deck shoes.
