Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a dark colored SUV that hit and killed a pedestrian in St. Petersburg late Monday.
The pedestrian was crossing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street South at 20th Avenue around 9:30 p.m. when an SUV hit them and left the area. Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
St. Petersburg police said the SUV is dark colored, and could be blue or black.
