Clearwater man charged with cyberstalking, posting revenge porn after college student ended affair

A Clearwater man is behind bars after he reportedly cyberstalked, harassed and posted revenge porn of a young woman with whom he had an affair.

Bruce William Joseph, 57, reportedly engaged in a romantic relationship with the victim, who was a student at his wife's place of work, after she graduated high school. The victim went to college in North Carolina and Joseph continually traveled to meet her at her college. 

Joseph and the student were involved in a consensual relationship, but when the victim ended the relationship at the end of 2017.

Since the end of 2017, Joseph created numerous fake social media accounts in the victim's name and  uploaded pictures of her and used the sites to engage in conversations with strange men while posing as the victim, according to the arrest affidavit. The affidavit also states he gave the victim's address to the strange men and on two occasions, men arrived at her home, believing they were going to have sex with her. This made the victim fear for her safety and scared to go home. She was "distressed" from the from Joseph constantly harassing her by texting and calling her. 

Joseph reportedly sent nude photos of the victim to numerous friends and family of the victim through the fake social media accounts.

Joseph was booked into the Pinellas County Jail. He has been charged with sexual cyber-harassment, criminal use of personal identification and cyberstalking. 

He was released from jail after posting his $50,300 bond.
