Celebrate the holiday season at the Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa

Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa is transforming into a Winter Village with Tampa's only outdoor ice rink on Friday, November 18 and will run through December 25, 2016. 

The Winter Village, located along the Tampa Riverwalk, is presented by USAmeriBank. Children and adults of all ages can enjoy Tampa's only outdoor ice rink, enjoy snacks from the Sono Cafe at Winter Village and shop the Pop-up market featuring over 20 boutiques from local shops and makers. 

The official ribbon cutting with Mayor Bob Buckhorn will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Village will open to the public at 6 p.m.

Parking is available at Poe Garage. On-street parking in Downtown Tampa is free of charge north of Kennedy Boulevard after 6:00 pm on weekdays and all-day on weekends. Standard parking fares apply at all other times.

A few facts to know before you go: 

Leashed dogs are welcome on the Tampa Riverwalk. 

The Winter Village is free to attend. 

Tickets for the ice rink can be purchased at the entrance of the rink.
