NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — Pasco County deputies say a burglar broke into a home in New Port Richey by entering a vehicle in the driveway and finding a garage door clicker.

"We didn't hear anything. We didn't hear the door open. We didn't hear it close," said Samantha Lindsey.

Lindsey and her boyfriend said the break-in was caught on their home security cameras.

The couple didn't realize someone broke in until the next morning. Lindsey realized her purse and briefcase were missing.

"All my information, all my work information, my wallet, my credit cards, debit card, cash," said Lindsey.

Pasco County deputies released video of a female using one of the stolen credit cards after the burglary.

They hope someone can identify her and they can make an arrest.

Deputies said they don't know if the woman caught on camera breaking into the house is the same woman caught on camera using the stolen credit card.

"It was pretty disheartening. I was very angry," said Lindsey.

Lindsey said she will be more careful locking up at night. She now uses an app on her phone to open and close the garage door. She no longer keeps a clicker inside her car.

"That's a way to get in the house, essentially you're leaving them a house key in your car," said Lindsey
