If cancer couldn't stop Levi, there was no chance losing a leg would. Now he is raring to find a forever home.
Levi is believed to be a 7-year-old brown and tan shepherd/terrier mix.
He is a rescue from the Miami Dade Animal Services. When Levi arrived at the South Florida rescue agency, he had a large tumor on his front, right leg and could barely walk.
He was scheduled to be euthanized when Maxx & Me Pet Rescue stepped in.
Since then, Levi's right leg and the tumor have been removed. He has a clean bill of health and is ready to start a new life with a loving, new family.
Levi is a well adjusted dog and is good with children, adults and other dogs.
He is neutered and will be a happy go lucky companion.
