There's a new effort to get more women financially independent later in life.

The campaign by AARP now has a website that has free retirement tools.

The organization points out that women are 80 percent more likely than men to be poor in retirement.

They also say women have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic in terms of job loss.

The site encourages women to start saving and start small.
