Two boaters were rescued from Tampa Bay near the Sunshine Skyway Bridge early Saturday morning, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
The two people were aboard a schooner that collided with a range finder in the bay, a Coast Guard spokeswoman said.
The Coast Guard joined by members of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Marine Patrol and St. Petersburg Fire Rescue responded to the scene shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday.
The extent of the victims' injuries was unavailable.
