Virtual job fair underway in Tampa Bay area.
Tampa Bay area job seekers have the chance to get in front of dozens of employers from home.
CareerSource Tampa Bay is holding a "virtual job fair," beginning today. There are 3,000 open entry level positions for job seekers to go after.
"Everything from fast food, parks and recreation, to graphic design," CEO Ed Peachey said.
He said about 2,000 job seekers have already registered.
Tips For job seekers:
1. Research the company you are applying for
2. Use a professional email address
3. Keep resume to one page
Lakya Sanchez said she is unemployed and she will check out the job fair.
"I've been searching, but it's really complicated," said Sanchez.
The "virtual job fair" lasts through the week.
