A Tampa mother is speaking out after a man in her neighborhood was arrested on charges of grabbing her daughter and asking to kiss her privates.

"Her privates, yes. And he would give her $100 and a Bluetooth if she let him do it," the mother, who is not being identified to protect the identity of her child, said.

Police arrested 27-year-old Da'Juan Price at his home on East 25th Street on Monday night.

The mother says Price asked her daughter if she would be able to babysit his young children sometime in the near future. During that conversation, he is accused of making those sexual advances. At one point, he’s accused of saying, "I know you are 11 ... I don't want to [expletive] you or nothin'."

The woman's 7-year-old son witnessed Price grabbing his older sister.

Price is being charged with battery and luring and enticing a child. He posted bond and was released Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday, the alleged victim’s mother went to the courthouse to file for a protective order, hoping to keep Price at least 500 feet away from her children.

"I want him out of the neighborhood period," she said.

Police are not investigating any other potential victims.
