Cops search for supsect of Armed Home Invasion

Hernando County Sheriff's detectives are conducting an investigation into an Armed Home Invasion that occurred at 1326 Brook Drive in Brooksville just after 4 a.m. Saturday morning.
 
According to detectives, the suspect, David Thomas Williams, 19, went to the residence on Brook Drive and became involved in an altercation with one or more persons there.  During the altercation, Williams discharged a handgun.
 
Detectives are currently searching for Williams, who reportedly may have ties to or be hiding out in the area of Twigg Street in Brooksville.
 
 
The charges for Williams are as follows:
 
*       Armed Home Invasion
*       Shooting Into Occupied Dwelling
*       Aggravated Assault w/Firearm
*       Domestic Battery
*       Restraining Order Violation
*       Witness Tampering

Please do not approach Williams, as he is reportedly ARMED with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.  Williams should be considered DANGEROUS.
