Victoria Kasdan meets a lot of uninsured people at her clinic "We Care Manatee" in Bradenton.

"We see about 1,200 patients each year," said Kasdan.

The clinic provides free health care to the uninsured residents of Manatee County. Kasdan estimates that 25-percent of those in Manatee County are uninsured.

"We offer specialty care, primary care, and prescription help," said Kasdan.

She said most of the patients are workers in the service industry.

Her office just signed a new agreement with FSU's nursing school to help even more patients at the clinic.  FSU Nursing students will start treating patients at the clinic.

"We will probably triple the number of patients that we are able to see in a given week," said Kasdan.

The deal with FSU is currently for three years. Patients must meet certain income requirements.
