Doctors are predicting that the flu could be more active this year and encourage you to get the flu shot before the end of October.

Right now, the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County is participating in "Flu Boo IV." It will provide vaccines for free.

  • Wednesday, October 18
  • 5:30 p.m. -8:30 p.m.
  • Health Department in Pinellas Park.

It's easy! All you have to do is drive up and they'll give you the immunization right from your car. They will give the vaccine to anyone 3 and up.

The department says this year's vaccines have been updated to match circulating viruses.
