TAMPA, Fla. — Due to construction, it may take a few extra minutes for TECO Streetcar riders between Ybor CIty and Channelside during the week.

The Streetcar is not running between Cadrecha Plaza Station and the Cumberland Avenue Station on weekdays from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. until February 2020.

HART officials say the closures are due to construction work. The Publix Station and the York Street Station will also be closed during those times.

Riders will instead need to take a bus between the Cadrecha and Cumberland stations. Like the streetcar, it is also free.

HART says streetcar will operate normally on the weekends, as well as on holidays.

The work is expected to last through February 2020.
