Authorities say three people are dead and one is critically injured after a shooting at a north Florida home.
Levy County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Scott Tummond says authorities believe a 57-year-old man shot two men on the lawn of a home in Inglis, about 50 miles from Gainesville. One was killed and the other was critically injured.
Tummond says the man then entered the house and fatally shot his estranged wife before killing himself. Two guns were recovered.
Tummond says the home belonged to the injured victim, whose relationship with the shooter and his wife wasn't immediately clear. Police believe the man fatally shot on the lawn was a bystander who tried to intervene.
The incident came hours after a gunman opened fire at an Oregon community college, killing at least nine people before dying in a shootout with police.
