Police ask for community help finding suspect in Palmetto murder case

MANATEE CO, Fla- — Police are looking for a suspect they say killed a man after an argument.

On Wednesday, December 24 Palmetto police found an injured man at Palmetto Trace Apartments after a reported shooting. Officers identified the man as 27-year-old Ra’Shaad McDonald.

Manatee County EMS transported Mr. McDonald to Blake Medical Center where he died.

Palmetto Police and Manatee County Sheriff’s Office detectives say that McDonald was shot during an argument and identified 28-year-old Sirness Devon Stuarts of Palmetto as the person who shot and killed him.

Detectives are charging Stuarts with first-degree murder. Stuarts is still at large and police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

He was last seen driving a black 1010 Mercedes C300 sedan with license plate number LQPG99. If you see this vehicle or Stuarts police ask that you report it right away.
