POLK COUNTY, Fla- — Police say a woman has been charged with child abuse after getting into a fight with juveniles.

According to police, on Friday, February 12 an argument broke out at a Bartow High School basketball game between a group of juveniles.

After the game, the students went to the Bartow McDonald's. One of the students involved in the argument was approached by the mother of the other juvenile, Liquindella Clark, who is a teacher in Polk County.

Police say Clark confronted the kid who had been arguing with her child. She threatened the child and was removed from the lobby area by an unknown male who directed Clark to the parking lot area.

Clark waited in the parking lot until the group of children left the restaurant, at which point a physical altercation occurred between the group of juveniles and a fight broke out between the kids.

"Ms. Clark. During the altercation, Clark struck one juvenile in the face and removed her wig, and struck a second juvenile in the area of her head.
Law Enforcement was notified, and Clark was arrested at the scene."

She is charged with child abuse (F3).
