Hillsborough County deputies raided another convenience store for selling synthetic marijuana.
This time they arrested 44-year-old Mohamed Eltoukhy, the manager of the Citgo station on the corner of Waters Avenue West and Jones Avenue North.
"This used to be a great neighborhood," Angel Rivera, who's live near the gas station for about 15 years, said.
Angel says he gets along with the owner of the gas station, but has had a problem with people who are high hanging out in front of his home.
"It doesn't look right in front of your house. It brings the value down in your neighborhood," he said.
According to a search warrant obtained by ABC Action News, undercover deputies witnessed folks buying spice at the gas station two different times. During a search of the store, they seized about 40 packets of spice.
It's the second store front spice bust for HCSO this year. In Late January, the owner of Mary's Beverage Castle in Riverview was arrested for selling synthetic marijuana.
In March of last year, deputies seized 11 pounds of spice from the Beverage Castle on Orient Road. Much of the stash was hidden in a hole in the building's wall.
HCSO didn't respond to our request for an interview, but all three of those businesses are still open.
Rivera says he hopes the arrest near his home helps clean up his streets.
