In August of 2010 it was only a concept and now the elevated bus that straddles car traffic is reality.
The transit elevated bus TEB-1 went on its very first road test in Qinhuangdao on Tuesday, August 2.
According to China's news agency Xinhua, the bus is 22 meters long, 7.8 meters wide and 4.8 meters high and it can carry up to 300 passengers. The coolest part, it travels above the cars in the city.
The TEB was made to help with traffic congestion.
