Deputies arrested two men who broke into Brandon Crossroads Bowl early Friday morning. It turns out, the business owner and facility manager were able to access surveillance cameras with their cell phones, letting deputies know exactly where the criminals were and what they were doing, in real time.

Deputies quickly responded with multiple units, including a helicopter and K-9.

Deputies arrested 20-year-old Garrett Mitchell and 33-year-old Christopher Jenke with the help of the K-9. Both were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries from the K-9.

According to the facility manager, the burglars broke through an air conditioning wall unit in the rear of the building, crawled over pin placing machines, then worked their way up a bowling lane where they found an ATM. They were wearing masks, gloves and dark clothing. They used a pry bar and angle grinder to access the cash in the ATM and break into other parts of the business.

The business has several security measures in place, including dozens of cameras and motion and noise sensors.

On top of the burglary related charges, Mitchell is being charged resisting an officer, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of a firearm with the serial number removed and possession of marijuana.
