FHSAA postpones fall sports due to COVID-19

The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) voted to postpone the start of fall sports due to COVID-19.

The FHSAA approved the motion 11-4 to postpone fall sports until August 24.

There will be another in-person meeting of the board of directors that will be held no later than August 17.

On Tuesday, July 21, the FHSAA originally stated that fall sports will start on their original date of Monday, July 27.
