Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested Friday after allegedly punching a man in what may have been a dispute over parking, WABC in New York reports.

The station reports that it happened around 2 p.m. near his residence and that assault charges are pending.
According to TMZ, the other man in the parking dispute swooped in on the parking spot Baldwin was apparently planning to take for himself.
Baldwin was given a desk appearance ticket on misdemeanor assault and harassment charges. He received a court date and is required to appear in Manhattan criminal court on November 26.
