Hillsborough County’s Pet Resource Center is full of cats seized in a recent investigation, and shelter managers are appealing to the public to adopt from the dozens of available felines. Animal Control officers seized more than 300 cats last week from a pet rescue shelter near Plant City. Shelter officials have been working
with partner agencies throughout Tampa Bay to house and adopt some of the cats, but more than 100 remain at the Pet Resource Center, 440 N. Falkenburg Road in Tampa.
