The Tampa Bay Food Fight is the first of its kind in Tampa Bay produced by a nonprofit who supports the homeless population and atrisk families. This new foodie event raises awareness and thought leadership on one of the main causes of homelessness: unemployment due to lack of marketable skills. Metropolitan Ministries’ Inside the Box Culinary Arts Program (ITB CAP) preps at-risk students in the skill of culinary arts at no cost to them.
