The Middle District Court of Florida on Wednesday handed down a record setting judgment to a Largo pastor.
Pastor Myra was awarded $363,500.
In February, we reported the long time pastor had never taken out a student loan or co-signed for anyone.
Yet her lawsuit against Navient, one of the nation's largest student loan bill collectors, accused the company of robo dialing her cell phone more than 700 times over the period of over a year.
It marks the largest summary judgment involving a robo call case of this nature.
Yet, the case is not over.
Pastor Myra's attorney says according to anti robo call laws, some of the calls in violation are worth $1500 each.
A trial to determine whether more damages are warranted is set for next month.
