Downward trend for gas prices

Costs less to fill up than it did in 2014
Posted

Gas prices dropped 3 cents a gallon in the last week....that's $1.16 less a gallon than we were all paying two years ago.

The state average fell to $2.18 a gallon in Florida over the weekend.

Here's why, refineries are switching to winter blend gasoline. The fuel has fewer additives making it cheaper to produce than the summer blend.

And there's more good news for the coming months. Gas prices should continue to drop over the next couple of months unless refineries run into trouble or if oil prices surge.
