The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has created a list of the safest cars for 2017.
The organization sifted through about 200 car models to create the list, and gave 38 of them a top safety pick rating,41 less than last year.
One big part of that change is the fact that ratings include quality of headlights for the first time this year.
Toyota and Lexus had the most models receiving top honors.
Ford, however, did not have any models with the top safety rating.
